Carther, Verna Marie – With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Verna Carther in her 78th year after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Leroy Gordon for 59 years. Dear sister of Jean (Alan) and Bill (Jennett). Loving mother of Bradley (Bobby) of Listowell, Penny (Andy) of Bothwell, Brent (Tammy) of Woodstock and Kirk of Cambridge. Loving and nurturing foster mother of many children. Grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 7. Also survived by many cousins, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Gord and Ada Willer and brother Tom. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday December 23, 2017 from 1-4 pm at Bothwell Town Hall (320 Main Street, Bothwell).
