Obituary for Velina Sheehan (Belair)
SHEEHAN, VELINA AURORE (NEE BELAIR) OF TILBURY
October 4, 1923 – February 4, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Loving Mother Velina on Tuesday, February 4, 2023 in her 100th year. Pre-deceased by her husband Carlyle (1977) and her parents Joseph and Laura (nee Pauquette) Belair. Loving mother of the late Raymond (1999) (surviving wife Marikay), Irene (the late Richard) Dierckens, Yvonne (the late Darrel) Whittal, Janet (Robert) Patrick, the late Beverly (1953), Thomas (Kathy), Timothy (Trudy), Richard (Karla), Carol (Van) Mather, and the late Joseph (2011). She will be dearly missed by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Cordelia (Toby) Thibert and Louise Brosseau. Pre-deceased by dear grandson Guy Sheehan (2008) and sisters Orise Tellier, Agatha Chouinard, Jean Thibert, and Carmelle Gage. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Charity of Choice.
