It is with much sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of a very loving, kind and gentle man, Thomas Michael Glazier on March 22, 2019. Tom was born in London, Ontario January 21, 1961. He is pre-deceased by his mother, Pauline Jean Gibb (nee Glazier). Profoundly missing him is his wife Sherry Pinsonneault of Chatham, ON. He is survived by his two children Ashley Glazier (Grant Chinnick) of Blenheim and Tim Glazier of London. Along with his stepchildren, Christopher Bardoel (Lindsey Marks) of Dutton, Kyle and Jessica Pinsonneault of Chatham and Courtney Pinsonneault of Chatham. Proud “Papa” to Ewan Roy and Liam Pinsonneault both of Chatham. Brother-in-law to Ken and Shelly Jack of Lighthouse Cove, Kevin and Madelaine Jack of Blenheim, and Mark and Yvonne Jack of Blenheim. Uncle and Great Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Loved by many extended family members and missed by many friends. He loved his fur babies, Shelby, Gunther, Miss Kitty and Willy who are missing his presence greatly. Tom served in the Canadian Armed Forces for a number of years and oversaw a number of leadership roles during his career including law and security. Tom’s true passion was in mental health where he worked with the Mental Health Network in Chatham for a number of years. Later he was the Regional Co-Ordinator for the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario and most recently a well respected Team Lead at Concentrix here in Chatham. He was adored by those that knew him and he touched the hearts and helped many people in the community. He was a member of the Legion in Chatham and loved the game of darts. He was an avid boater and fisherman who loved the outdoors. He had a passion for woodworking and recently was enjoying the set up of his HO Scale model trains. The world has lost a remarkable man. It was Tom’s wishes he be cremated and a private family funeral take place. Being the giving and generous soul he was, two people will be given eye sight in his honour. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to The Mental Health Network, Schizophrenia Society of Ontario, the Canadian Diabetes Association, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. All are welcome to attend a celebration of this wonderful man’s life on Saturday April 27, 2019 from 12-3 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 642 (39 William St N. Chatham).
