Obituary for Tom Fenton

Thomas Walter Fenton  A resident of Morpeth, Ontario, passed away at the Hospice Residential Home in Leamington, Ontario on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022. He was born in Summerside, PEI on May 7, 1942. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Hilda (Legue) Fenton and his step-father Gene Ball. Survived by his wife of 44 years Kayda Lowrie. Loving father to JP Lowrie and wife Sue, and “Papa” to Justin and Brendan Lowrie, who he was so proud of. Also survived by children Todd, Kelly, Tammy-Lyn, and families. Survived by his brother Dave Fenton and wife Cindy of London and brother-in-law Norm Lowrie and wife Jean of Chatham. Survived by his Uncle Jack Fenton and wife Shirley of Blenheim.   Also survived by his nieces and nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his sister Lynne Fenton and grandson Todd Jr.   Tom retired from Navistar in 2000. After retiring Tom and Kayda spent their winters in Punta Gorda, Florida, until the last two winters. He was a longtime resident of Wildwood by the Lake at M orpeth. Tom enjoyed riding his Can Am Spyder bike and visiting with friends at “Pepper’s” and at the Blenheim Legion where he was a Member. At Wildwood you would find him cruising around the park on his golf cart or on Sava’s porch.  We would like to thank his doctors, Dr. Kamar at the Dutton Medical Centre, Dr. Van of Chatham and the doctors and nurses at Erie Shores Hospital and at the Hospice Home. At Tom’s request he has been cremated and there will not be a funeral. Donations in Tom’s memory can be made to the Blenheim Legion or The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County Inc.
