We are deeply saddened to say good bye to our wife and mom, the lovely Shirley Rose Bloom. Shirley was born on Thursday, August 26, 1937 in London, Ontario and passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 in Chatham. John and Shirley were married for 66 years and have 4 children, Robert Bloom, Cathy (Mark) Smith, Kim (Joe) Neto and Carol (Dan) Wilson. Shirley loved her grandchildren, Jenn (Matt) Krissak, Ashley Smith, Brittany (Brendan) Allen, Kristen Bloom (Jay Lee), Bill (Jayme) Bloom and the late Jeremy VanderPaelt. She will be missed by her siblings, Betty (Frank) Marentette, John (Phyllis) Switzer, Marg (Neil) Dick and is pre-deceased by sister Doris (Joe) Johnston and her parents, Elmer and Jean Switzer. The family wishes to thank the staff and management of Meadow Park Nursing Home for the loving care Mom received during her stay there.
