Obituary for Robert Tuck

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robert Francis Tuck on Wednesday, October 21st, 2020 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.  Born in Ridgetown, 83 years ago to the late Carlyle and Estella Tuck. Robert was married to the love of his life, Ruth, for 61 years. Bob and Ruth had one son, Stephen who married Valerie Tuck.  Robert was the grandfather of Jarrod (Jessica), Riley (Jessica) and Jennifer Tuck.  Great Grandfather of Andrea Baker, Rachel and Dylan Tuck.  Brother of Betty Field (Robert) and Gordon Tuck (the late Audrey). Predeceased by his in-laws; Anna Payne (Chestle), Don Bellinger (Doreen), George Cook, Marlene Phillips (Jim).  Survived by his sisters in law Mary Bellinger and Edith Cook and many nieces and nephews.  Bob and Ruth enjoyed many years of travel and especially enjoyed cruising. Bob enjoyed golfing, family time spent with the grandchildren and great grandchildren and baby snuggles. He enjoyed daily visits to the coffee shop and playing cards with friends. There were many days of laughter with family and friends.  Bob retired from Libby’s (Nestle Canada) in Chatham and Wallaceburg after 38 years as a Transportation Manager. Bob last worked at Northside Auto as a Service Manager, working for his son. He was always laughing and enjoyed a good joke with “the group at the shop”. He retired from the shop after 16 years. Bob will be remembered as a man who loved his family and adored being a grandfather. Many thanks and appreciation to the Doctors, Nurses and all the staff at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance that cared for Bob.  Bob’s family will be remembering him privately.
