Robert Howard, lifelong resident of Chatham, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Riverview Gardens. Born in Chatham 61 years ago . Son of the late Jim and Jean Howard. Brother of Jane Remington (Gary), Betty Johnston, Barbara Lynn (Greg), Judy Howard, Jack Goddard and Mike Zimmer. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Mary Zimmer (Mike), Carol Goddard (Jack) and Tom Howard (Judy). Rob worked for over 30 years at Woodbridge Foam in Tilbury. He enjoyed many years as a "non parent" coach and leader with Chatham Minor Hockey. He was a hockey fan cheering mainly for his Toronto Maple Leafs. Rob will be remembered privately and interred with his parents at a later date.
