Richard "Dick" William Israels of Goderich, Ontario passed away peacefully with family by his side at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023. Beloved wife of Judy Israels (Burgess). Loving father of Todd Israels (Allison), Heidi Brand (Allan), and Scott Israels (Penny). Grandfather of Spencer Israels, Derrick Brand, Emma Brand, Kali Israels, and Logan Israels. Son of the late John and Gesina Israels. Survived by sisters Rita Ramsdale (Howard) and Juliana Crowe (Don) and brothers-in-law Bryan Burgess, George Holthof Sr. and Charles Slade. Predeceased by sisters Florence, Effie, Joan (Gerald), brother George, and 1/2 brothers and sisters Joe (Lisa), Elsie (Frank), Hank (Lena), Jack, and Ray (Harriet).
Family will be remembering Richard privately and interment will take place at the Bothwell Cemetery at a later date.
