Regina “Gina” Jackson Stinnett, a resident of Tilbury, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Born in Kentucky 66 years ago, daughter of the late James Curtis and Juanita Jackson. Deeply missed by her life partner, Jeff Wylie Erskine. Caring mother to Jose (Amanda) Reyna. Beloved sister to Debra Lowe and James M. (Gladys) Jackson. Loving grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Also survived and missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sons Bernard Christopher and Charles Lee Renya and two great-grandchildren. Jeff Wylie Erskine was the love of Gina’s life, spending the last 12 years in Canada, a country she loved just as much as the US. Gina resided in St. Thomas for the first 9 years and then 3 years in Tilbury. Gina was the co-operator of Studio of Arts and Oddities at 38A Queen Street North, Tilbury. She leaves behind many friends, and many she called family. There weren’t many people that met Gina who didn’t have their lives touched by her in some way. She will be greatly missed not only in Canada, but also by her friends and family in the US.
Arrangements entrusted to Life Transitions Burial and Cremation Service Inc. Gina’s full services will take place at Malone’s Funeral Home in Grayson, Kentucky at a later date.
