Obituary for Pauline Legue

Pauline died in hospital on Saturday March 20, the first day of spring, at the age of 93. Born in Ridgetown to the late Elizabeth (Hastings) and William Murray. Predeceased by her loving husband Edward (Yo) Legue (1991). Mother of loving daughters Cathy (Tom) McDowell and Mary (Jason) Beselaere. Predeceased by her son Brian Legue (2015). Also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, and daughter-in-law Jean Lyttle (Bob). Predeceased by her long-time companion Ron Turner (2007), her brother Jack Murray, and her sister Joan Grummett (2008).  Pauline did many things in her lifetime and approached all of them wholeheartedly, always ending the day admiring the view from any nearby window – the place you could always find her. She was well known for her fabulous baking ability, especially her pies.  A huge thank you to Dorothy Arnold and staff of Trillium Village for keeping a watchful eye on her, as well as her neighbours. This care allowed her to stay at her home as long as possible. Thank you to Dr. Bailey for her kindness, compassion, and guidance in her care.  Donations to honour Pauline may be directed to the Chatham-Kent Hospice. Cremation has taken place.
