Paul Pynaert passed away peacefully at his home with his wife at his side Friday, August 12, 2022. Born in Belgium 86 years ago. Son of the late Marcel and Margaret Pynaert. Husband of Dianne for over 63 years. Predeceased by his siblings Frank Pynaert (2019), Mary DeGroot (2008) and John Pynaert (2003). Paul is survived by his sister in law Lilian. Also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins both in Belgium and Canada. Paul immigrated to Canada in 1948 from Belgium, and the year after Dianne also arrived  from Belgium. They married in 1959 and worked together  from 1959 to 2001 as farmers in the Thamesville area. In retirement Paul and Dianne moved into Chatham and have enjoyed life together. Paul will be deeply missed by all those that loved him. Special thanks to Bayshore and MaryBeth Cadotte RN for their exceptional care for Paul.
