With a deep sadness we announce the passing of Nicolae Maghetiu “Nic” on Thursday December 5, 2019 while surrounded by his family at Chatham Kent Hospice. Born in Romania 75 years ago to Cornel and Livia. Nicolae has been the loving husband of Elena for over 53 years. Father of Alina Gherghel and father-in-law of Radu. Proud grandfather of Alex. Uncle of Angelica and Miruna. Survived by brothers in law Cornel and Constantin Enea (with wife Viorica).. Also survived by special family friends Lucian and Zoro Stefanovici-Gheorghe and the Dovancescu family (Monica, Liviu, Jeni, Vasile and Lili). Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider the Chatham Kent Hospice . Nicolae’s family will be remembering him privately.
