On January 20, 2022 Millie passed away at the Chatham Hospital. Her rest comes after years of battling cancer and illness. She will be sadly missed by children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by Bruce, Karen, Julie, Gord, Morris, Harold, Rose, and Steve. Millie will be remembered for her feisty spirit, her fortitude in raising children alone, and courage to fight each battle she encountered. She reached 85 years of life, with an upbeat attitude and love for her family. She was known as a hard worker, making ends meet for her children, no matter the circumstance. Millie enjoyed travelling later in life, visiting Las Vegas and Florida as well as driving out west to see her family. She played bingo at a level above everyone else. Above all, she looked forward to family time. From the visits to the phone calls, she made time for anyone that made time for her. As she now rests, her worries and cares rest with her. Millie’s memory lives on with all her family who thank her for life, and she will always be remembered in conversation and laughter.
