Obituary for Mike Halladay-Forester

Michael Roy Halladay-Forester passed away on Friday May 25, 2018, a victim of cancer at the age of 62. Born in Dunville September 3, 1955. Survived by his loving wife of 34 years Valerie Fulton and his step children Michael Kelly and Cash Kelly. He is survived by his brother Paul (Claudette) Halladay of Calgary, sisters Patti and Richard Empey, Linda and Andy Juras, Frances and Marcel Frechette , all of Niagara Falls. Michael leaves behind his brothers and sisters in law Terry (Bonnie), Dennis (Jovi) , Ross (Dorothy) Fulton, Laurie (Don) and Teresa (Troy). Also survived by 26 nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Beverley and Mary Halladay. Mike and Valerie came to Chatham Kent in 1985 to operate bicycle rentals and fire wood sales at Rondeau Park. Mike had a passion for bicycles. He will be remembered riding around Blenheim on his “homemade” recumbent bike. He worked at an assortment of jobs, his most recent as a delivery driver for Blenheim Shoppers Drug Mart. His second passion was art. He enjoyed painting in various mediums and subjects including the portarit of “fat Jimmee” that hangs in the Bar and Grill. Cremation has taken place. All are welcome to attend A Celebration of Mike’s Life  on Sunday June 24 at Blenheim Legion – 2 pm.
