It is with great sadness that we say farewell to Michelle Veronica Leclerc. Born April 19, 1963 to John and Diana Leclerc of Dover, she passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 4, 2018 at Chatham Kent Hospice. She leaves behind her best friend and partner Susan Shaw Minshull, “adopted sisters and brother” Camilla and Garfield King and Leslie Dobson, close friends Nin and Pete Matheson and Marilyn Lester, who was like a second Mom to her. She will also be missed by Eva her pug. Michelle was a horticulturist for years. She may have planned and completed your landscaping or cut your grass doing so with pride of work. She played a lot of sports in her younger years and was quite competitive. She was “to the point” and said it like it was while having a heart of gold. At Michelle’s request cremation has taken place with interment to happen at a later date. A Mass will be celebrated at St Agnes Church on Thursday April 19,2018 at 1 pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to Chatham Kent Hospice.
