Obituary for Michael June
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Michael Bradley June of Thamesville on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.
Mike enjoyed being with his children, where there were endless hours cheering for them in sports, or spending time outdoors at his grandparents cottage. As Mike was handy with his hands, and the skills he learned as a General Machinist and Gas Fitter, he was always working on a project and tinkering in his shop. Mike had a vibrant smile, and even through his struggles loved spending time with his family.
Mike is survived by his loving parents Cindy and Tom June. He was the proud father of Kennedy and Jordyn June. Mike will be greatly missed by his partner Amanda Carter, and her children Camden and Tori White. Beloved Brother of Jessica Welch (Steffan) and Uncle of Braden (Sydney), Cameron, and Alyson Welch, great uncle of Westyn Welch. Best friend of Laurie Kennedy, and her daughter Greenlea. Michael is survived by his grandmother Maggie McGee (the late Russell) and is also predeceased by his grandparents Murray and Marilyn June. He will also be missed by his aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life for Michael will take place on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the Sertoma Club, 104 Railroad St in Thamesville, Ontario from 1:00pm – 5:00pm. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in Michael’s name are asked to please consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Mental Health.
