With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mrs. Meriel Terrisa Armstrong (nee Getty) on Saturday October 10, 2020 at 94 years of age. Life long resident of the Leamington and Wheatley area. Daughter of the late Earl and Marium Getty. Wife of the late Arthur Armstrong (1990). Mother of Mark Armstrong (Lee Ann). Grandmother of Brian and Emily Armstrong. Predeceased by her sisters Goldie Rosenfeld and Daisy Flewelling. Meriel worked alongside Arthur for many years on their family farm. She will be deeply missed by all those that knew her. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday October 13, 2020 from 1-3 pm followed by a brief funeral at St. Andrew’s United Church (85 William St. South). With the attendance restrictions in mind, please feel free to leave a message of condolence.  A private family burial to follow at Albuna Cemetery .
