It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Melissa Marie Chauvin, of Chatham, Ontario on the 5th of June, at the age of 37 years old. She will be lovingly remembered by her child Bunnee Chauvin, sister Candi Chauvin and Brother Kelly Chauvin, niece, Peyton Chauvin parents, Ray and Jenny-Taylor-Peters ,step sister Lindsay -Peters-Brandon ,step Brother Danny Peters , numerous relatives and friends and the love of her life DJ Given. She is predeceased by her first child, Richard; and her grandparents: Bill and Theresa,Taylor and Gwen and Maurice Peters whom she now joins in Heaven. At Melissa‘s request, no service will be held due to Covid-19 . At a later date a celebration of life will be held once restriction are lifted. The family wishes to send a special thank you to both the staff at the Chatham-Kent Palliative Care Unit and the volunteers at the Chatham-Kent hospice for their care and compassion during those hard times.
