Obituary for Marlene Trepanier

In loving memory of a strong sacred woman and cancer survivor, who fought a powerful fight for 7 miraculous years before surrendering to her divine time and space with God’s faith and pure grace. She shocked us all with her humble endurance, as with her sudden passing.

On May 2, 2023 an Earth Angel flew home to Heaven to help us from the other side after giving all her heart could give for 67 blessed years Earthside. An intimate gathering and cremation have taken place.

If care and compassion was a currency, she’d be among the richest to have walked this wonderful world we share. If peaceful strength was a colour she’d be a double rainbow that lasted forevermore. If loving kindness for all sentient life was a name it would be Marlene Trepanier of Tilbury, Ontario.

Mom to her two precious children whom she prayed for, adored & raised. Daughter, Jennifer Rose and son, Michael St Denis. Grammy to her grandson KaiZen & granddogs Osito Miel and Loki.

Marlene to her late parents, Percy and Eva Trepanier. Leno to her two sisters, Rose Ann Trep Marentette & Lorraine Duquette, wife of Frank Duquette. Tante to Jason, Bryan, Adri, Andy (Drew), Godson Gregory, Cassie and Brady.

Mar to her many cherished friends who laughed with and loved her so so soul much. Meowww to the collection of cats she rescued and raised for decades, whom she loved with all of her heart. They were her fur babies, closest companions, healers & bringers of everyday joy.

To put into words all that she is and always will be can be summed up by two - Love Infinite! Mom is flying free of pain and worldly chains now. Honoured, cherished and deeply missed by all who loved her near & far. Born beautiful inside and out, Leno’s down to Earth energy and light will burn bright like the rising sun of each new day. In absolute awe of Mar’s humility and grace, nothing will ever take her place as we stand in reverence sharing our greatest memories while her soul soars free.

Marlene was known for her warm smile, gentle spirit and love for animals. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to pawr.org on her behalf as a way to pay respect and continue the important efforts she endlessly made to rescue, feed, house & love all animals (especially cats) in need.

With deep gratitude for our ancestors whose love brought us through and the lineage of love that thrives through you ~ we thank you!

As we grieve our beloved mother, grandmother, sister & friend, she whispers through the wind to take it ‘one day at a time’.

“When tomorrow starts without me, don’t think we’re far apart. For every time you think of me, I’m right here in your heart.”
