Marlene Veronica Foy (nee Couture) was welcomed into the arms of God and her son Edward Douglas Jr in heaven on September 3rd, 2022 at the age of 84. She will forever be lovingly remembered for her beautiful heart and kindness by everyone who knew her.
Marlene was born in Chatham, the daughter of the late Alfred and Parmelia (nee St. Pierre) Couture. Loving mother of Kim Ladd (Rob), Lori Foy Howard (Dan) and Todd Foy. Treasured Mimi of Michelle Waddick (Matt), Kristin Buis (John), Erin Ladd (Clara Hilts), Mitchell Howard, Myles Howard, and Logan Howard (Maddie), Kyra, Alayla and Raya Hicks. Deeply missed by great grandchildren Finnley and Harlow Waddick, Ruben, Jonah and Evelyn Buis, and Sable Ladd-Hilts. Dear sister of JoAnne and Gerry Yager and Dennis and Bernadette Couture, sister-in-law of Nancy Couture and Gail Couture, and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her infant son Edward Douglas Jr and sisters Vada Riddell (Gene), Maxine Graham (Jim), brothers Douglas (late Shirley), Robert Couture and an infant brother Rodney.
Cremation has taken place and arrangements are entrusted to Life Transitions Burial and Cremation Service Inc. There will be a private gathering at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
