Lifelong resident of Wallaceburg passed away peacefully on the 28th of June. Predeceased by her husband Tom Murphy and daughter Maureen Murphy Cleary. Marion was the proud Mother of her children Janice and John Gonyou. Tim and Susan Murphy, Kevin Murphy(Chris Myers), Mike and Wendy Murphy, Mark and Carol Murphy, Kathy Murphy(Dan Gagner). Be-loved Grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren with 2 on the way. Marion was an avid cribbage player at home and The Wallaceburg Legion. Mom loved life and resided at the Oaks Retirement Village for the past 5 years until her passing. We cannot express our gratitude enough to the staff at the Oak’s who made the final journey with us. VON is to be commended for their help including Marg Aarssen, Palliative Care’s, Lisa Babcock and Dr. Emer Dudley.Mom will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.In lieu of flowers and at the family’s request, donation to The Wallaceburg Legion and VON would be very much appreciated.A private Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
