Obituary for Marilyn Kemp

Marilyn Kemp, of Chatham, passed away Monday September 13, 2021 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Born in Wallaceburg to Harry and Verna (Goldsmith) Rabideau. Marilyn will be greatly missed by her husband Jack Kemp and her children Amy (Corey) Blanchard, Leigh-Ann (Jason) Ulch, Steven (Jessica) Kemp, and Josh (Kim) Burke. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Hannah Burke-Toth, Elizabeth Blanchard, Matthew Ulch (Samantha Berube), Brenden Ulch (Chloe Drew), Bryce Ulch, Marissa Ulch, Amelia Kemp, Sutton Kemp, Samantha Burke, Nathan Burke and Jordan Burke and by great granddaughter Kinley Drew. Sister of the late Robert (survived by Marlene) Rabideau, Beth Elaine (John) Descoteaux of Chatham, Ruth Anne (Norm) Bradshaw, Eva (Gary) Winsor, Ray (Henny) Rabideau, Cathy (Dick) Michailia, and Danette Goulding, all of Wallaceburg. Sister-in-law of Gidge (Kirk) Owen, Dutch (Ken) Read, Cathy (the late John, 2013) Langan, and Sandy (the late Glen, 2020) Morrow. Marilyn will also be missed her great friends Tom and Tracy Horton. Those wishing to make a donation in Marilyn’s memory are asked to please consider Grassroots Cat Rescue. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Marilyn’s life will be planned at a later date.
