With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Marilyn Irene Homeniuk at her home on Tuesday March 3, 2020.  She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Ivy Troy and was formerly married to the late Mike Homeniuk.  The rock of her family, Marilyn was the Mother of Michelle Homeniuk, the late Christopher Homeniuk and the late Debbie Homeniuk. Marilyn loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved sharing memories of herlife and her family with them. She was a Special Nan to Myles Homeniuk (Autumn) and grandmother of Devon.  Her great grandchildren are Vivian, Maverick and Mila.  She was the Sister of Jim Troy, Sally Ford (Robert), the late Dolly and the late Jean and Rusty Gray. Daughter in law of the late Bill and Bonnie Homeniuk and Mother in law of Stephanie Homeniuk. Special friend of Alice Leblanc and Rose Brown. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Marilyn always encouraged us to “build a memory”  Her greatest love was being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Marilyn worked for many years at the Thames-Lea Restaurant. In Marilyn’s own words, “I had a good life”. Those wishing to make a memorial donation are asked to consider the  Chatham Kent Hospice . Her family will be remembering her privately.
