Obituary for LuisMiguel Aguirre-Jaramillo

LuisMiguel Aguirre-Jaramillo     August 14,1983-January 14, 2021   After a long fight with cancer, Luis Miguel passed away on Jan. 14, 2021. Luis Miguel was a loving husband to Laura Penner and devoted father to Bela, Tiago and Naira Aguirre-Penner. He was truly a caring, humble, loving individual who inspired so many people who crossed his path.  He was the beloved son of Luis and Mercedes (Jaramillo) Aguirre.  Brother to Tanya & Robert (Mantilla) and Vanessa.  He was the grandson of Nestor and Lucrecia (Munoz) Aguirre and Angel and Teresa (Andrade) Jaramillo.          Many uncles, aunts and cousins in Ecuador loved him dearly. He was loved deeply by his father and mother in law, Mike & Colleen (Gordon) Penner.   His sisters in law Olivia & Alex O’Donnell, Emily & Ryan Parachoniak and brother in law Brady & Jessie (Lacina) Penner.   He will be missed by all his nieces and nephews in Canada and Ecuador.  Samantha, Nicolas, Joshua, Luanna, Mateo, Xiomara, Lucas, William and Jake. Luis Miguel was born in Ecuador.  He moved to Canada in 2007 to marry Laura.  They were married for 13 years.  He went to St. Clair College here in Chatham and graduated top of his class in Mechatronics.  He worked for InCycle Automation in Windsor as a Controls Engineer.   Luis Miguel made a huge impact on everyone he met.  He fought his disease with courage and such a strong faith.  He inspired others with his positive attitude.  He was not afraid to die, but fought to stay for his family as long as he could.  We are sad to lose this inspiring young man, but know he is no longer in pain and is with his heavenly Father.
