With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Lee John Buckland at his home on Thursday February 6, 2020. Born in Chatham 25 years ago to Terry Buckland and the late Lena McDonald. Lee is the brother of Tyler Buckland (Andrea) and LeeAnn McDonald, uncle of Ella and Olivia Buckland, and Ethan Duphette. Nephew of Todd and Rick Buckland, Tammy Gartner (John), Lise Boutin (Will), Florent Valiquette (Suzie), Laurent Valiquette (Sylvie), Armand Valiquette, Lucille Ouellette, Lucie Valiquette, and Louise Valiquette (Dennis), the late Fernand Valiquette, the late Lynn Ouimet and the late Linda Valiquette.  He is the beloved grandson of Linda Steckley.  Predeceased by his grandfather Earl Steckley, grandparents Lucien and Estelle Valiquette. Also survived by his friend Raymond Howard. Lee will always be remembered as a huge sports fan, who loved music, video games and pizza. He also loved his kitties Oreo, Pumba and especially Conan. Trips to Toronto with his dad were special times as well as treasured visits and assurance from Aunt Lucille. Rest in peace Lee.
