Obituary for Kenneth Burk

Kenneth George Burk, a resident of Blenheim, passed away January 20th, 2021 at his home surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren, at the age of 67.  Kenn “Uncle Kenny” was born in Chatham, the beloved husband of Mary Lynn (nee Rowe), and son of the late George and Eileen (nee Keech).  Loving Dad to Jason (Julie), Kristin (Jeremy), Lyndsay (Kyle) and beloved lap companion K-ly.  Proud Grandpa to Griffin, Mason, Jemma, Kylie, Jayda, Amelia, Lily, Liam and Maisie.  Dear brother to Nancy (Gord), the late Roy, Bill (Kathy), Rose and Paul (Tammy), brother-in-law to Patty (George), Susan (Mike), Debbie (Rick), Kim and the late Doug and son-in-law to Conrad and the late Helen (nee Sullivan) Rowe.  Kenn wasn’t just a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend but a true role-model as well. He was a well-rounded individual, providing constant support and guidance to everyone in his life.    Kenn achieved great success during his 31 year career with Siemens Automotive, holding several Management level positions and building many great friendships. He retired in 2007 at the young age of 52. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family. Traveling, relaxing by the beach, hunting, fishing, and woodworking brought Kenn contentment throughout his life. He also enjoyed his time as a coach to many, his friends in the “hood”, his Southern family, and his love of classic cars.  A Celebration of Life “fish fry” will be held at a future date. Donations may be made to Chatham-Kent Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society .
