Keith John Milner, of Chatham, passed away on Tuesday July 14, 2020, at home surrounded by family. Loving husband of Shirley Ann Milner (nee Davidson) and beloved father of Carrie Milner (fiance Gary) and Deanna Mondo (Rodney). Proud grandfather of MaKaela, Ashantee, Emma, Abby, Logan, Faith, Ahliyah and Tatum. Brother of Mary Anne Shaw (Tom), Karen Loyer, and (the late) Jim Milner (Carol). Keith will also be missed by his brother-in-law and special friends Jack and Diane Stoffyn, Jean and Leo Mantelli, Lynn and Gary Vince, Bill and Kathy Davidson, Pat and Tim Atkinson. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Violet Milner and his mother and father-in-law Mary and Bill Davidson, and sister and brother-in-law Barb and Ken Houston. Keith worked at Siemens for 30 years. He was most proud of his family, his wife, daughters and grandchildren, and Tokey was his pride and joy. “Love you to the moon and back.” Time with family, fishing, hunting and spending time at Pine Grove Point were Keith’s favourite pastimes. He enjoyed country western music and crossword puzzles, he always looked out for the underdog, helping people who needed him. Dad was a foster grandfather to so many! His greatest love was his grandchildren, whom he waited his whole life for. His two girls, Carrie and Deanna (Rodney) were his greatest accomplishments. He loved them to infinity and beyond. His wife Shirley of 55 years was his best friend and confidante. Mom took care of dad right to the end! He was home with his wife Shirley, his daughters Carrie and Deanna, son-in-law Rodney and special nephew (son) Darrin Shaw. Sister in law Diane, Jean, Lynn, and Pat made it possible to keep him home. Thank you to MaKaela and Emma for your special care of grandpa to the end. To Uncle Jack (aka) brother-in-law and Diane, your love, concern and outright compassion for our husband and dad will never go unnoticed, he loved you so much! Darrin Shaw (the son my dad never had) he loved you more that you will ever know! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping dad to transition from this life to the next, best friends Sharon and the late Bob Kornacker and their children Tanya, Larissa (John) Quong and Hoanh Ta, and Denny Bows his best friend and coffee buddy.
