With heavy hearts we announce the passing of John Pratt, peacefully with family by his side, on Tuesday October 19, 2021 at Chatham Kent Health Alliance. Born in Axminster England, 82 years ago. John is survived by his children Christopher Pratt and Victoria Krouse (Al) and will always be the proud “G’pa” of Violet and Poppy Krouse. For many years John worked at the Wheels Inn where he made many lifelong friends. He both loved and hated golf, but saved most of his sports passion for the Detroit Red Wings. John will be forever missed and fondly remembered by those who knew him. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to all of the wonderful and caring nurses at CKHA, especially Angie. In accordance with John’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life planned for a future date. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider the Chatham Kent Community Foundation.
