With heavy hearts we announce the passing of John Brian Innis on Monday August 3, 2020 with his wife by his side. Born in Chatham 80 years ago John is the son of the late Harry and Reita Innis. Husband of Susan for over 41 years. Father of Kim Innis (Darryl Robillard), the late John Innis and Audrey Smith . Grandfather of Lyrrisa and Johnathon Dionne, Michelle Benoit, Carrie Sch e u e rman n (Craig Querin), Nicole Scheuermann   and Matt Keller, Jon Innis, Jakob Innis ( McKayla MacIntosh ) and Jordan Innis. Great grandfather of E mma, Berkley, Tiger, Tanner, Danny, Olivia, Austin and Ariel. Brother of Iris Foulon (the late George) and Marla and Wayne Baverstock. Brother in law Murray Wardell and Mary Ferguson, the late Jane and Roy Stasyshyn, Dan Wardell and Nancy. Son in law of Mary Wardell and the late Albert Wardell. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. John worked for many years as a Pipefitter with Union 663, a labourer with Union 1089 while always farming his whole life. The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Sydenham Campus, Medicine Ward for their compassionate and caring service, as well as the multitude of kindness extended to John through this challenging journey. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider the Wallaceburg and Port Lambton Food Banks. A private family celebration of John’s life will take place at a later date.
