It is with a heavy heart that we announce John’s passing in his 63rd year.Loving brother of Jane (Bruce) and Bonnie (Sherman). Special Uncle to Geoff (Kate) and Kristin (Sam). Great Uncle to Xander and Charlie. He also leaves behind many friends. John worked at the Southwestern Regional Centre for many years. After his retirement he was able to fulfill his dream of scuba diving adventure to see tropical fish in Lake Tanganika, Africa.  His travels also took him to Sierra Leone, Africa to develop computer software for a paediatric hospital.  He also developed other software for different businesses. He was gifted at playing accordion and piano.  He willingly shared his talents at Cornerstone Church.John had a great love for nature and God’s creation.  He enjoyed his cats, tropical fish and nature walks.Visitation is at Evangel Community Church, 76 Sandys St, Chatham, Ontario on Sunday July 28, 2019 from 2-4 pm. A funeral service will be held at Evangel Community Church on Monday, July 29, 2019 at 11 am. Internment to follow at Pardoville Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mercy Ships, Unit 5-3318 Oak Street, Victoria, BC.  Mercyships.ca which is a registered Canadian Charity.  This would be appreciated by the family.
