Obituary for John Dawson

John Archibald Dawson is my name and this is my story. I made my grand entrance into this world on May 27, 1939. My parents Edward and Avis (nee Archibald) along with my siblings Lorraine (Bob Wheeler) Myla, Bob, Dave and Grant (Linda) resided in Thamesville, Ontario. Silly Ass Ranch was my stomping grounds where the shenanigans were a plenty. Over the years I’ve worn many hats from horse tamer to mechanic at Dickson Motors and Rossini Automotive. But none more important than that of Husband, Dad and Grandpa. On November 5, 1963 I married the most beautiful woman I’d ever set my eyes on, my soulmate Florence (Roesch). Just when I didn’t think life could get any better along came our three rug rats Diane (Dave), Ed (2016) and Andy. Over the years I became a Grandpa of 5; Chrissy Miller (William), John Dawson (Stacey), Nicole Dawson (Brandon), Diana Bowman (Dave) and Consuela Brown (Jim). I also became a Great Grandpa to 10 and Great Great Grandpa to 1…too many pedicle petches to name. Horses hangdown I almost forgot the biggest pain in my backside , Patti Massong (Joe)…you kept me on my toes. On November 13, 2020 while surrounded by my family I stepped over to join my sweet Florence. Thank you for all the time of my life, until we meet again. Remember my laughter, Remember my smile but excuse me all I have to say goodbye, I need to say hello to my son…and have that dance with my wife. John’s family will be remembering him privately
