Jamie passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, in his 60th year on September 4th, 2021. He will be remembered as a patient and easy going man who was kind to everyone. He loved cars and the Detroit Red Wings, but most of all he loved to joke and make people laugh. He had many unique hobbies and interests, such as collecting and organizing his large collection of business cards. He will be deeply missed by Kim, his wife and best friend of 39 years, his most loved daughter Haleigh, and his closest pal and son in law, Alex. He will be forever loved by his most precious gift, his grand daughter Delaney. Jamie will especially be missed by his sister Sue and his brother Terry. Predeceased by his parents Ray and Meda and his brother Dan. Our family would like to thank the Bayshore PSWs for the excellent care and kindness they always showed to Jamie. Thank you to the VON nursing staff for all the compassionate visits day or night. Thank you to Kerri Wood, who went above and beyond for Jamie and our family. No words can ever thank you. And thank you to Dr. David Miller (for always listening to Kerri). There will be an open house to celebrate Jamie’s life from 2pm-4pm on Saturday, September 11th at 9641 Fairview Line. We ask that, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in honour of Jamie to Charlotte’s Freedom Farm at www.charlottesfarm.ca/donations .
