It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of James “Jim” Robert Blair on Monday January 14th 2018 after a battle with a lengthy illness. He was born in Chatham, Ontario on August 15th 1962 to his parents Shirley (Peltier) and the late James Edward (2016). Proud father to Kathryn Blair (Paul Dias) and Nicole Blair (Tom Sylvain). Dear brother to Annette, Jerome (Gail) and the late Claudette Brablec (2007). Uncle to Cynthia (Alex), Sarah (Jonathan), Andraya & Joshua. He was also survived by many aunts & uncles. Jim loved hunting, fishing, playing cards and being a truck driver. He will be fondly remembered for the love he had for his family. Especially the last few years he spent taking care of his parents.
A visitation is to take place Saturday January 19th, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Church in Pain Court from 10am, followed by a funeral service at 11am.
In lieu of flowers or friends wishing to remember Jim with a memorial donation are asked to consider the Chatham Kent Hospice or Immaculate Conception church.
