It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, born April 20, 1989, passed June 5, 2021 at the age of 32.  Cherished son of Dianna Carey (Dave Tetrault) and Gabriel Lachance (Carolyn McCann) Jake will be sadly missed by siblings James (Brenna) Lachance, twin brother Matthew Lachance, Aimee (Robert) Schaafsma, and Shawn (Tasha) Carey.  Predeceased by his grandparents Clayton and Jeanne Carey, and Charles and Cecile Lachance.  Survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.  As a child Jake had a lifelong love for music, including playing the drums. As a youth, he could really double kick those drums, and felt in complete control. He also had a love for skateboarding and dirt bikes and was absolutely fearless.  Jake loved wrenching on motors, along with fishing, ice fishing, and swimming with the family on Lake St. Clair.  Cremation has taken place. A private family burial will be at a later date.  In Memory of Jake donations can be made to the Chatham Mental Health and Addictions or a Charity of your choice.   Love Dad and Carolin
