In loving memory of Dr. Hisashi "Hi" Matsusaki, who passed away March 12, 2023 just shy of his 95th birthday, Much loved father of George (Deb), Dr. Dean (Jennifer) and Joan (Randy). “Papa Hi” to Keely, Emmi, Andrew (Charlsie), Harrison, Coen and Emersyn. Hi was predeceased by his wife Eileen, sister Miyoko and brother Hajime. Having many friends and family that extended across the country, he will be remembered for his sense of humour, and steady nature. He was an avid birder, woodworker and Maple Leafs fan. We thank Dr. Wheeler, Karen, E-shift Support Night Care and the VON team of nurses for their compassionate care. We also thank the staff and close friends from the Grand Retirement Village. In keeping with Hi’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Red Cross or Operation Smiles would be appreciated by the family.
