Henry M. Smulders, of Chatham, Ontario passed away at the age of 66 on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. He was the proud father of sons Josh (Lindsay) and Chad ( Lorrie ) . His grandchildren Landon, Evie and Evander will miss spending time with their Grandpa . Henry is predeceased by his parents, Peter and Joanna Smulders and sister Nellie. He is survived by siblings G e rt, Elizabeth, Albert, Martin and Bill. Henry worked hard as a truck trailer technician. He loved cooking food for people, especially his delicious Dutch pancakes. Nothing made him prouder than his beautiful grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, golf, a drive to Erieau and completing Sudoku puzzles. Shania Twain music and telling a good joke made Henry smile. We can still hear Dad saying “Is that your final answer?” and “Put can’t behind the door and do it!” Henry’s family will remember him privately with cremation and interment at a later date .
