On February 7 Helmut Georg Noack (Hem) was lovingly called home in his 79th year at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with his family by his side. Hem was born in Berlin, Germany to the late Ernst and Frieda Noack. Hem is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marie Noack. Was a loving father to John (2012), Tracey Martin (Ron) and Lisa Kellier (Sol). He was the greatest Opa to Nolan, Cai, Josh, Rayne, Victoria, and Reagan. He was the youngest of 5 siblings, predeceased Alfred, Margot, Hubert, and Oots. Son in law of John(1961) and Vina(1981) Lebeau. Brother in law to John Lebeau(1986), Earl Lebeau (Carmen), Barton Lebeau(Tina), and Bill Lebeau (Linda). Hem journeyed to Canada from Berlin with best friend Gerry Stange at the age of 18. He came to Canada looking for a better life and found the love of his life and created a beautiful family. He was a long term employee of Motor Wheel until they closed. He enjoyed going for long walks, reading, keeping up on his politics and sharing all his stories and adventures with his grand children. He also loved cooking and baking and made the best damn gravy. A “Celebration of Life” will take place on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Champz Sports Grille (Former Legion on St. Clair). Please join the family in remembering this very rare and special man.
