Goddard, Helen Frances. passed peacefully while surrounded by family on Saturday March 24, 2018 at Meadow Park Care Home in Chatham. Wife of the late George Goddard (1991). Mother of Jack Goddard and Jean and Dan Caron. Grandmother of Terri-Lynn and Ron Burgess, Robert and Shelley Goddard, Chris Goddard, Christine Hunter, Michelle Caron, Michael Caron, John and Sarah Caron, Mark and Brenda Schaffer. Great grandmother of Justin, Devon, Darian, Jeremiah, Bailey, Makaylah, Austin, Julia, Veronica, Sara, Aleah and Paige. Helen is survived by her sisters of Ruth Lachine, Pat Ellis. Predeceased by sisters Margaret Riesener, Nora McCauley and Nancy Delaet and daughter in law Carol Goddard (August 2017). Helen loved and enjoyed her beautiful family. She had treasured memories of many a Euchre game with the sisters, playing Pepper and Bingo with the ladies on Grand Ave and working along side George at the Kent Cloverleaf Conservation Club. Helen will be deeply missed and forever remembered. All are welcome to gather with family at Maple Leaf Cemetery April 7, 2018 at 11 am.
