Harold Robert “Bob” Haslip passed away peacefully on Sunday October 10th, 2021 at the age of 74 after a brief and courageous battle with Cancer. Survived by his wife, and best friend of 54 years, Bonnie Rae. Beloved father of Scott (Tanya), Beth and Grant (Crystal). Bob was a proud and devoted grandfather of Madison, Nathan, Hunter, Shaun, Brody and Maya. His children and grandchildren were his world. He will fondly be remembered by Darryl and Allie along with many other friends. Bob will be remembered by many for his booming voice and hearty laugh. He loved to bake and took great pleasure in sharing these goodies with those he loved. A retiree of Lanxess, he will be remembered for his work ethic and the love of the job. The family wishes to thank Dr. Samantha Soeder and her nurse Katie, Dr. Orla Mac Sweeney and the Palliative Care Unit of Bluewater Health for their care and support. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
