BOWEN (nee MacKenzie) On Monday, October 16, 2017, Glenda Diane was called to be with her husband Glen Bowen(2002) and her grandson Mathew Bowen(2004), passing away peacefully at home surrounded by all her family. Glenda is survived by her five children, Carol (Tim) Lozon of Chatham, Wayne(Colleen) Bowen of Wallaceburg, Cathy(Andy) Straus of Sarnia, Shelley (Jeff) Thibert of Chatham and Scott(Jen) Bowen of Wallaceburg; her eight grandchildren Arren Bowen, Stacey (Mike) Lane, Nicole(Colin) Roeszler, Katelyn Bowen, Lindsay Lozon, Evan and Nolan Thibert, Ryan Bowen; her two great grandchildren Nash and Brock Lane; along with siblings, Laurie(Gary) Young of Burlington, Karen McIntosh of Port Elgin, Nan McPherson of Petrolia and Gus MacKenzie (Marie) of Cambridge. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Glenda is predeceased by her parents, Dorothy(2006) and Murray(1972) MacKenzie of Petrolia. Always loving and kind, full of laughter, Glenda’s strong yet gentle spirit led her family forward, creating beautiful memories for all to remember. Glenda was truly a special person to all those whose lives were touched by her. A private family service will be held in celebration of Glenda’s life.
