Obituary for Frederick “Andy”

Frederick Andrew (Andy) McMurray born in Scotland October 28, 1943. I had a talk with you last night you said all the things I wanted to hear And you held me tight and kissed my lips and comforted me when I cried. I had a talk with you last night Oh how I wish you had been there to hear Love Always Elaine   Frederick and Mary Elizabeth McMurray left Scotland after the war with Andy to have a fresh start in Canada.  They took residence in Scarborough where Andy grew up, went to college to earn his CPA.   Andy enjoyed socializing at the golf course, sailing and a good game of pool.  He was a senior member of Cathedral Bluffs Yacht Club when we met.  His parents had passed and he was residing in his childhood home.  After a couple of years he asked me to join him as his spouse and we enjoyed family time with my daughter Leajh her husband Richard and their children Julius and Mariah celebrating occasions including the addition of a great granddaughter Maliyah.     Health issues became a concern and after my retirement we moved to a lovely home in Chatham 2015.  It was here on December 15, 2020 Andy suffered a burst aneurysm and sadly passed in Chatham Health Alliance Hospital.   My darling, we love you and will miss you. Our family would like to thank the Ambulance and Hospital staff who helped to make his passing so peaceful.  The kindness of our neighbours and the helpful guidance of Life Transitions have been heartwarming.
