With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Frederick “Fred” Albert Andrews on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Chatham Kent Health Alliance. Born in Chatham 80 years ago. Son of the late Albert and Anne Andrews (McAlorum). Father of Angela Papadopoulos (Nick) of Ajax, Paul Andrews (Rhonda McPhee) of Waterloo, Michael Andrews of Watford. Also survived by Frances Segui (Fojtik), the mother of Angela, Paul and Michael and by his brother, Dan Andrews of Gananoque. Grandfather of Matthew Andrews and Christopher Papadopoulos and great grandfather to Owen Andrews and Christopher Andrews. Also missed by special friend Judy Andrews (Nicole, Nikki, Jason) and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, friends and extended family.

Fred worked over the years at International Harvester and Standard Tube. He loved his music and harness racing, visiting the local tracks, and was a sports fan. Fred will also be remembered for his passion for keeping his car in immaculate condition. He will be deeply missed by all those who loved him.

All are welcome to attend a graveside service on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 2:30 pm at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
