Frank VanVliet December 31, 1937 – June 10, 2020 It is with great sadness that Frank VanVliet on June 10, 2020 in his 83 rd year passed away peacefully at Bluewater Hospital.  Special thanks goes out to the palliative care team at Bluewater Hospital. Beloved husband of Patricia VanVliet (Herron), son of predeceased Hendricus and Margaretha VanVliet, dear father of Steven (Pam), Robert (Bonnie), Sharon (John), Melissa (Jeff). Cherished grandfather of Brent (Alyssa), Adam (Alicia), Samantha, Ashley (Rob), Alexis, Ryan and great-grandfather of five. Dear brother of Gerda DeBruin, Sida Slot, Greet Vianen, Corry en Jan VanVliet and Joop VanVliet. Frank was born in Holland on December 31 st , 1937, he came to Canada in 1960.  He worked at Imperial Oil for 30 years and once retired he enjoyed vacationing down south with his family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice. A Celebration of life to follow at a later date.
