It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Francesca Celia Netti-Allinson. She passed away peacefully on Thursday September 3rd 2020, at Chatham-Kent Hospice. She had just turned 79 years old. Francesca Celia Netti-Allinson was born on July 12th, 1941 in Alassio, Italy. She was the only child of the late Ferrucio Netti of Verona, Italy and the late Gina Gibroni-Netti of Milan, Italy. She married the late Keith Allinson of Chatham, Ontario and immigrated to Canada where they established residence in Chatham Kent. She is survived by her loving and devoted Daughter Tracey Allinson-Wright, son in-law Daniel Lee Wright, loving Son Mark Steven Allinson, Step Mother of Kim Allinson-Hall, husband Stuart, their Daughter Lauren Hall, of Leeds England and grandchildren Jessica Nicole Wright, Dalton Daniel Wright, Scarlett Elizabeth Allinson and William Flynn Allinson. She is also survived by loving niece Vicky Buller-Cook, husband Jeff Cook and their children Candace and Brandon Cook. She leaves behind many close friends. Francesca devoted the last 30 years of her life as an active contributor to the well being of others in the Chatham-Kent community. After suffering a stroke at age 43, she decided she would dedicate the rest of her life to helping others. She involved herself in numerous volunteer opportunities to include; Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Hospital, Theatre Kent and Chatham Cultural Center, The Lung Association of Ontario, Heart and Stroke Association of Ontario, Community Living of Chatham and Maple City Senior Center. She was an active participant during the Festival of Nations and Heritage Days in Chatham. During her lifetime, Francesca served in the Italian Navy, extensively traveled as an Au Pair, and was fluent in 5 different languages.
Her passions included; travel, music, theater, the arts, science, medicine, astronomy, history, nature, animals, world culture, religion and psychology. She loved her family and developed very special friends during her lifetime. Unfortunately due to the global pandemic and the unfortunate repercussions of COVID-19, a Celebration of Life gathering will be deferred to a later date. It will be held at Studio One, at the Chatham Cultural Center. Any charitable donations can be made in memory of Francesca Allinson to Chatham Kent Hospice .
