Elsbeth Fallak (nee Maass) of Ottawa (recently of Chatham, Ontario) passed peacefully in her sleep at Blenheim Community Village in the early hours of November 25, 2022 at the age of 86. Elsbeth was born in Cuxhaven, Germany on July 15, 1936 to Wilhelm and Christine Maass. Beloved wife of the late Gerhard Fallak (June 2022) for 67 years. She will be greatly missed by her children Judy Nolte (Don), Brian (Laurie), and Andrew (Tracey). Survived by her sister and best friend Christa Rosinski (Bob). She also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren who have many fond memories of their Oma: Justin Nolte, Brandon Nolte (Molly), Devin Fallak (Channelle), Jordan Guthrie (Harlan), and Meaghan Fallak, as well as two great grandchildren. She will be remembered for her joy of life, love of family, and her wonderful sense of humour.
Cremation has taken place, with a funeral and interment to follow in the Spring in Ottawa. In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Elsbeth may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Alzheimers Society of Canada.
