With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Elizabeth "Betsy" Marchand (nee Profota) on Thursday November 17, 2022 at Chatham Kent Health Alliance. Born in Detroit, Michigan 60 years ago. Daughter of the late Anthony Profota, survived by her mother Patricia Profota (nee Repka). Wife of Mike Marchand. Mother of Michael Marchand (Krystal), Brian Marchand and Steven Marchand. Survived by her brother Tony Profota. Betsy graduated from St Clair College nursing and enjoyed over 17 years serving as a Registered Nurse. She worked for many years at PGH caring for Geriatric patients as well as spending her last 4 years of service in a community nursing capacity. Betsy lived a quiet life and will be remembered privately by family. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those that loved her.
