Elizabeth Geiring passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in Chatham. Elizabeth was born in Liebling, Romania 93 years ago and immigrated to Montreal with her mother and father at the age of four. Daughter of the late Wilhelm and Elizabeth Kunz. Wife of the late Henry Geiring (1990). Mother of Bill Geiring (Brenda), Gary Geiring (Dianne), and Lori (Mary). Predeceased by her brother William at a tender young age.  Lovingly remembered by her nephews, Bob Schrock (Marlene 2019), and Henry Schrock (Louise). In her earlier years, Elizabeth worked in the hospitality industry. Elizabeth was happiest when her family was with her and when she was traveling.  Special thanks to numerous LTC and Retirement Home staff, and Lisa and the Alzheimer Society Staff for their support.  Her loving spirit touched everyone inclusive of her German sayings and sharp wit.  She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
