Edward Brian Williams, born on December 21 st , 1945 to be the son of Gertrude Hazel and Anthony Francis Joseph Williams, peacefully passed away at the age of 75 on January 25 th , 2021 in Chatham, Ontario.  As the son of a CN Rail Engineer, his family primarily lived in remote towns throughout Northern Ontario, finally settling down in Barrie where he met his bride-to-be, Rosemary Florance Keast.  He fell in love, married at 19 years of age and together began their journey as husband and wife. During childhood, he learned to build go-karts with his father, raced competitively and introduced his daughters and their families to the sport including Indy and F1 Racing.  He was a history buff and enjoyed any opportunity to discuss politics.  A  Veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, he joined the Militia at age 17 as a Cadet. He was recruited by Firestone Tires soon after, which led to a successful career as a local entrepreneur and businessman.  He became the owner of a Texaco gas station on St. Clair Street followed by the Texaco Distribution Centre in Chatham.  He refused to compromise his self integrity and taught his family to do the same. Dad gave advice whether we wanted to hear it or not and stressed family values, confidence and honesty. He enjoyed one on one moments teaching us everything he knew.  Well done Dad. Throughout his life, his priority and commitment was always to his family. Dad is survived by his loving wife Rosemary of 55 years, daughters and sons-in-law Deanna & Marino Favretto and Cathy & Dale Turner. Proud Papa to his grandchildren Hannah & Mary Turner and Tony & Joey Favretto.  Also survived by his sisters-in-law and their families, Joyce & Barry Jubenville (Kyle, Shayna and Jeremy) and Diane Keast & Jackie Gatenby (Chris and Sheri).  Predeceased by grandparents Bertha & Henry Deevy, in-laws Mary & Howard Keast.  Thank you to Dr. K. Cremation has taken place, private family service to follow at Arnold Cemetery in Chatham.  Donations may be made in Dad’s memory to The War Amps .  God, grant me the serenity
