Obituary for Edith Robbins

Robbins, Edith (Hyatt) passed away peacefully at Meadow Park Retirement Home on January 14, 2021. Born in Wheatley on January 10, 1932 to the late Alf and Iva (Loyst) Hyatt. Predeceased by husband Edwin (2019). Survived by daughters Christie Ann (Graham) Walker and Lori Elizabeth (Scott) Primeau. Also survived by grandchildren Richard (Megan) Primeau, Andrew (Cassandra) Primeau and Rachel Walker. Great-grandchildren Madison and Nicolas Primeau and Lila and Elliott Primeau. Survived by sister Betty Moore of Essex. Predeceased by sisters Elaine Hall of Chatham and Kay Lafreniere of Appin. Edith loved to spend time knitting and was known by many as the Mitten Lady, as she had knit and donated hundreds of mittens to local schools. Edith’s family will be remembering her privately.
