After a wonderful life, Donald Herbert Harris passed away peacefully in Chatham, Ontario on Thursday, October 21, 2021, with family by his side. Donald was born in Gosfield, Ontario to the late Herbert and Maude Harris on November 10, 1926. He was married to the late Jean (nee May) in 1960. Together they raised their children Jeff (Sarah Weisman) and Susan Sinclair (Randy). Donald will also be missed by his grandchildren, Andrew Harris and Brett Sinclair. Donald lived and worked in Mitchell’s Bay as manager of the marina and a maintenance mechanic for the St. Clair Parkway Commission. Charitable donations to the Wallaceburg Legion are welcome in memory of Donald. Don will be remembered privately at a family service with a celebration of Don’s life will be held at a later date.
